MESSAGE OF THE METROPOLITAN OF MINSK AND SLUTSK PHILARET:

The Belorussian Orthodox Church has formed an intention to celebrate the great triumph of Christians, 2000 years since Christ was born, by the conclusion of the construction of a temple complex in honour of the God's Mother's icon "All the griving's joy" in the city of Minsk. ...We believe that even the smallest part of our offerings and troubles of the glory of God's Pure Mother will not hide itself from The Lord. Christ the Saviour bless all the participants and confederates of this holy affair of templebuilding in this age and in the future one!

...The building of the temple and the church-social centre with the workshops for invalids has been carried on for ten years. These workshops give the people with physical limitations the possibility of not only spiritual, but also physical union with the full parish life, gradually destroying stereotype about people who wait for alms from the society.
Your donations are the memory about the victims and left villages of Chernobyl, they are your care of the distressed nowadays aged and invalids. Divine mercy be with all the kind and cordial people working in the name of God.
